MOSCOW / RankWire.AI / – During the initial six months of 2026, Russia’s exports of non-resource, non-energy industrial goods increased to $58.8 billion, driven by growing shipments of chemicals, metals, and consumer goods. The Russian Federation Minister Anton Alikhanov confirmed these trade figures during briefings held alongside the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. This trade figure positions the country to reach its annual goal of $116.95 billion in manufactured exports, which forms a key part of Moscow’s broader objective of $155.25 billion for non-energy trade in 2026.

Data provided by national trade planners reveal that mineral and chemical fertilizers primarily drove growth in global markets. Shipments of precious metals, pharmaceutical products, perfumes, and specialized cosmetics also experienced positive momentum, helping Russia expand its presence in less traditional markets across Asia, Eurasia, and the Middle East. Officials pointed out that regional export support centers managed by the ministry have been integrated into unified operational networks with the Russian Export Center, aiming to streamline logistics for domestic producers.

Fertilizer and Chemical Industries Dominate Export Performance

The mid-year trade report follows an overall 11% increase in non-resource, non-energy exports compared to the previous annual cycle. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s administration reaffirmed that government initiatives continue to prioritize establishing Russia as a reliable supplier of advanced industrial and high-tech goods despite ongoing international trade restrictions. Russia non-resource industrial exports reach $58.8 billion as federal trade agencies align national development targets with long-term infrastructure and manufacturing investment strategies.

The Eastern Economic Forum of 2026, held at the Far Eastern Federal University and centered on regional economic growth, served as a platform to announce upcoming trade initiatives. Minister Alikhanov reaffirmed that federal support programs are functioning within the parameters set by the country’s development plans. Officials aim to boost total non-energy trade volumes by 66% over six years relative to 2023 baseline figures.

Enhanced Export Support Networks Drive Regional Business Expansion

Representatives from the trade ministry emphasized increased commercial cooperation with members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Eurasian Economic Union. Russia’s non-resource industrial exports reach $58.8 billion, while local e-commerce platforms expand cross-border trade through regional logistics hubs. The delivery of specialized equipment for healthcare and logistics infrastructure continues to be an emerging growth sector within bilateral trade agreements.

Trade authorities and regional export support bodies will keep monitoring industrial shipment data throughout the second half of 2026. Final export figures for the year and sector-specific trade balances will be compiled after the fourth quarter reporting deadlines. Official documents on national export goals and infrastructure investments are available via government portals.
